Cooperative Operations and Strategic Collaboration
Whether working with NPCs or up to four players in co-operative multiplayer mode, teamwork is the key to success. The squad can use tools and the environment dynamically to fight fires efficiently. Each mission presents new challenges and requires flexible solutions.
Cross-play allows players to work together across platforms, while integrated voice chat enables seamless communication and precise task assignment. The fire station of the fictive map “Oakridge City” serves as a central starting point from which missions can be launched and the appropriate vehicles selected.
Diverse Missions and Teamwork Mechanics
Players can use officially licensed emergency vehicles to get to the scene and tackle various rescue scenarios. Axes, crowbars, circular saws and ladders can be used to create new entrances, break down doors and free trapped people. Rescued people also need to be safely escorted outside and to the ambulance. No one is left behind! The focus is not only on rescuing people, but also on controlling the unpredictable and realistic fires.
Different extinguishing methods are available. Players can now switch between straight stream and spray mode, or switch to foam on the fire truck to tackle different types of fire more effectively. Dangerous situations such as gas leaks, flue gas explosions, liquid or electrical fires require quick action, as well as locating and shutting off electrical boxes and gas valves. In addition, the targeted sawing of roofs enables vertical ventilation to allow smoke to escape and provide better visibility, while ladders facilitate access to higher locations.
Firefighting Simulator: Ignite will be released for PC, PlayStation®5und Xbox Series X|S.
