Duesseldorf/Germany, December 18, 2025 – In large national parks, there is not only plenty for visitors to do, but the park rangers are also on their feet all day to make the park the spectacular natural experience that attracts tourists and outdoor enthusiasts in droves.

Besides routine tasks like repairing minor damage, removing trash, or providing information, there are also some jobs that are less commonplace. In today's mission trailer for Ranger's Path: National Park Simulator, publisher astragon Entertainment and developer To-Go Games offer a glimpse into some of these.

Alongside everyday tasks and callouts, several main missions await players in Ranger’s Path: National Park Simulator at the start of the upcoming Early Access release. These missions unlock new park areas and their associated tasks, visitor groups, and of course, additional flora and fauna. Divided into several sections, main missions not only represent game progression upon completion, but also provide some entertaining variety to the virtual ranger's daily routine.

To give some examples, during a regular trail opening the rangers might pick up the traces of a missing hiker who desperately needs their help to get back on the right path, or they might search for the visitor center's popular mascot, a small racoon, that has gone for a stroll through the park and is now causing plenty of chaos.

Things get more serious in other main missions, which involve clearing storm damage and repairing an important bridge, or when poachers are lurking in the park and setting traps that can be dangerous not only for animals but also humans.

Ranger’s Path: National Park Simulator will launch in Early Access via Steam and the Epic Games Store with an already broad set of features, offering hours of engaging gameplay from day one. Throughout the Early Access phase, players can look forward to regular free content updates, with new tools, activities, and wildlife enhancements planned. The player community will play a crucial role in shaping the game’s further development through feedback and ideas.
