2nd match day of Farming Simulator League to start on Saturday
The next match day is coming up this weekend for the Farming Simulator League (FSL): Competitive farming esports teams will strive to collect as many hay bales as possible playing Farming Simulator 19 between January 16, and January 17, 2021. It will be exciting to see all teams back and ready to fight for ranking points and their share of the overall season prize pool of 250,000 Euros in this online knockout competition.
Live stream starts with quarter finals
The decisive finish of the competition will be streamed on Sunday starting at 10am CET via the official GIANTS Software Twitch channel. Eight remaining teams compete in the quarter finals until the final winner is determined. On the 1st match day of the season, which took place in late November 2020, Team astragon barely missed the advancement to the quarter finals after a loss against Corteva Agriscience. Corteva Agriscience eventually came out victorious in the first match day with a win against team Trelleborg in a close ‘best of 3’ grand finale with 740:711, 654:699 and 765:695 points respectively. The first match day of the current 3rd FSL season can be re-lived on the official GIANTS Software YouTube channel.
International seeded teams
The 13 seeded teams originate from eight different countries. These official teams are supported by agricultural manufacturers or other sponsors. Each esports team consists of at least 3 participants, and similar to other sports, there have been quite a few roster changes in preparation for this new, third season, which will last until November 2021.
Free esports DLC available
The free to download Tournament Client for Season 3 invites you if you are a Farming Simulator fan and esports enthusiast to register and compete.
