Players of the successful early access game Police Simulator: Patrol Officers for PC can already look forward to two new features that fans have wanted for the longest time:
The Holding Cells update will introduce the possibility to transport handcuffed suspects in the officers’ own vehicle and transfer them to holding cells upon arrival in the precinct, while a new modding feature will allow you to get creative with uniform and vehicle skins. The The Holding Cells update starts into its beta phase on March 22, 2022 and will officially become available as part of the game on April 12, 2022.
Transporting suspects for more realism and basic modding for creative players
Always eager to increase the game’s realism, the development team of Police Simulator: Patrol Officers has chosen one of the most fervently wished for features for their next update this April: In addition to calling a police van for backup to a crime or accident scene to have suspects transported to the station, you can now use your own vehicle to take up to two handcuffed individuals to the precinct themselves, and transfer them to realistically recreated holding cells. Another feature you are often asking for in the many community channels of the game is the possibility to add your own changes via modding. The The Holding Cells update will soon give you the chance to mod uniform and vehicle skins to give officers’ appearance an individual touch and make their patrol cars stand out from the crowd. Other optimizations such as the ability to give accident reports to arrested persons and to fine suspects even after handcuffing them as well as extensive bug-fixing will also improve the gameplay experience.
Police Simulator: Patrol Officers is available in early access for PC via Steam™. A detailed overview of upcoming content can be found in the official Police Simulator: Patrol Officers Roadmap.
