Moenchengladbach/Germany, June 19, 2019 – Not long-ago GIANTS Software announced the coming Farming Simulator League season, and with it establishes the Farming Simulator as a competitive eSports game. As a long-standing partner and distributor of the Farming Simulator series in the German-speaking territories, German video game publisher astragon Entertainment is happy to announce that the company will join this spectacular sport event by sponsoring the FSL team astragon Hektar Helden. The team of five talented players will prove their skills at 10 tournament stations in season 19/20 of the Farming Simulator League.
Back in the days and known under the name of Hektar Helden, the astragon Hektar Helden earned a considerable victory in the world of Farming Simulator eSports: In the year 2017 the team won the final match of the 1st Farming Simulator Championship with a 20-seconds-lead to the opponent team. This time, the team, consisting of leader Zerzerus (Patrick Schuster) and players The-Alien-Paul (Uwe Reifenrath), JaucheJochen01 (Michael Sell), Bull24 (Robert Zeitinger) and The1050Vario (Christoph Köberle), has set its sights on higher things and wants to take the trophy of the Farming Simulator League season 19/20 home.
At the biggest gaming and farming events in Europe the astragon Hektar Helden will get to harvest the fruit of their hard training in the new FSL competitive mode by competing against the strongest virtual farmers in the world in thrilling matches.
The coming FSL season will take place on July 27 and July 28, 2019 at FarmCon 19 in the headquarters of agricultural machinery manufacturer CLAAS in the German Harsewinkel. This event will include the first official appearance of the astragon Hektar Helden as officially Seeded Team of the Farming Simulator League.
“As a long-standing partner of GIANTS we accompanied Farming Simulator since day one. Now we are more than happy to become part of this important milestone in the history of Farming Simulator by supporting the team of astragon Hektar Helden during their FSL journey.” – Julia Piffer, CEO astragon Entertainment GmbH
