Duesseldorf/Germany, December 12, 2019 – The German publisher astragon Entertainment and the Belgian developer LuGus Studios are entering a long-term cooperation and are working on a joint project on which further information will be available in the coming year.
LuGus Studios was founded in 2011 in Hasselt, Belgium and has since published various independent projects. One of their greatest successes is the brand "Liftoff". Liftoff: FPV Drone Racing started successfully for the PC on Steam™ at the end of 2018 and is still a popular simulation for all drone fans a year later with positive reviews. The drone simulator puts the player in the role of an FPV drone pilot (First Person View).
For astragon Entertainment, the cooperation opens new doors. Tim Schmitz, CEO of astragon Entertainment, is very excited to team up with the dynamic development team. "We are looking forward to working with LuGus Studios, who have a highly motivated team and they have proven with the last games, how thoroughly and passionately they work on the projects. We can benefit a lot from this expert knowledge and in combination with our long-time experiences in publishing we have a great foundation for a successful cooperation.”
LuGus Studios founder and CEO Kevin Haelterman also notes that “LuGus Studios is looking forward to working with astragon Entertainment, a common name in the industry and known for publishing large simulation IPs on the current market. Our partnership with astragon will extend the reach of our projects. Combining the expertise in development and publishing, we are very excited about what the future can bring."
More information about the joint project between LuGus Studios and astragon Entertainment will be published early next year.
Until then, astragon Entertainment and LuGus Studios wish all readers a Merry Christmas and a good start to 2020.
